A UK woman claims that she discovered that her "boyfriend" Kye Fortune, whom she dated for two years, was actually her female friend Gayle Newland, after they had sex several times (video below).
The woman told the police that she believed that she was having sex with a male (Fortune) in a hotel in Chester, England, but later discovered it was Newland (pictured) using a prosthetic penis, notes The Telegraph.
The woman claimed that she fell for the ruse because Newland (as Fortune) made her wear a blindfold during sex due to purported scars from an alleged brain tumor and car accident.
Now, Newland is on trial in Chester, England, for five counts of sexual assault that allegedly happened between February and June 2013.
Prosecutors claim that the woman did not consent to sex with a prosthetic penis, which means Newland sexually assaulted her, however, Newland has denied the charges.
During Newland's trial, it has been alleged that the woman was befriended on Facebook in 2011 by Fortune, who had a "high-pitched" voice when the two spoke on the phone.
Around the same time, the woman said that she met Newland, who became her friend and knew Fortune.
Newland allegedly covered her chest with bandages, concealed her hair with a wooly hat and would not allow the woman to touch "his" penis, notes Cosmopolitan UK.
The woman told police that the two met for blindfolded sex at the hotel several times, but the truth came out during their last encounter:
When I was having sex I grabbed for the back of his head and my hand got caught on something. It did not feel right.
I was sat on the bed, he was standing up. Something in my mind said, "Pull it [the blindfold] off, pull it off."
I just pulled it off. Gayle was just standing there... I just couldn't believe it, I couldn't believe it. Straight away she held her hand down over her face and said, "It's not what you think."
