Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump blasted sitting President Barack Obama for stating that the U.S. will continue to accept Syrian refugees following the Mar. 22 Brussels terror attack.

The business mogul called into "Fox and Friends" to condemn President Obama’s call for tolerance and empathy toward displaced Muslims fleeing the Syrian Civil War.

"I can’t believe that he’s saying it," Trump said, according to Business Insider. "It’s inconceivable that he’s saying it. Open borders, everything said there is absolutely, you would almost say it’s disgraceful — you can’t even imagine that a man could make those statements, especially a president of this country."

During his weekend address from the White House, President Obama stated that accepting Syrian refugees was important in combating ISIS because "our most important partners are American Muslims."

The President added that Americans must reject discrimination and broad assumptions about Muslims.

Trump responded "It is just insane what this man is saying."

When asked about Secretary of State John Kerry’s comments that foreign leaders were shocked by Trump’s rhetoric about Muslims, the business mogul fired back "I'm shocked by him. And I’m shocked that he would sign a deal like the Iran deal, which is one of the worst and dumbest deals I’ve ever seen negotiated, a horrible, horrible embarrassment deal."

The GOP candidate has proposed a temporary travel ban on all Muslims from entering the U.S. On the day of the attacks in Brussels, Trump claimed that Belgium’s immigration policies were to blame for the infiltration of ISIS operatives.

“Belgium is no longer Belgium,” Trump told TODAY News. “Belgium is a horror show right now.”

The business mogul added that the U.S. would follow suit because “What we’re doing is we’re allowing thousands and thousands of these people into our country, and we’re going to have nothing but problems.”

On Mar. 27, Trump claimed that President Obama was allowing 250,000 Syrian refugees to enter the U.S., which is false. Currently, 10,000 refugees are scheduled to be accepted into the country.

“I don’t think America is a safe place for Americans, you want to know the truth,” Trump said, according to ABC News. “We’re allowing thousands of people to come in here… let me tell you something, we’re going to have problems.”
