Saudi Arabia Religious Cop Scolds Woman For Not Wearing Gloves (Video)

| by Michael Allen

A religious police officer recently berated a veiled woman for not wearing gloves inside the Barzan Mall in Ha'il, Saudi Arabia.

A video (below) of the incident shows the woman covered in a black cloak, and the religious policeman stating, "Walk away... don't say a word... Put on some gloves," noted AFP.

The International Business Times UK reports: "Saudi Arabia's Committee for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice is the government body that employs the religious police or Mutaween to encourage the enforcement of Sharia law in the Kingdom."

However, some local news media claim the woman was actually in trouble for sitting to close to a male shopkeeper.

This judge looked an inmate square in the eyes and did something that left the entire courtroom in tears:

Fahd Al Amer, a spokesperson for the Committee for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice in Ha'il, said, "We are looking into what happened and we will take the necessary measures based on the conclusions."

Saudi Arabian law does not allow women to drive, requires that ladies are covered head to toe in public and says that females must get a male guardian's permission to have a job and marry.

Saudi Arabia, like ISIS, is also known for its beheadings.
