A lobbying firm run by Hillary Clinton's campaign chairman, John Podesta, failed to disclose that it was lobbying for foreign governments.
The Podesta Group, run by John Podesta and his brother, Tony Podesta, amended two disclosure forms from 2014 and 2015 to note that they held meetings and had email communications while John Podesta worked as an adviser to President Barack Obama and as Clinton's campaign chairman, reported the Washington Free Beacon.
The brothers met with the Indian ambassador to the U.S. in the White House on Aug. 4, 2014, according to visitor logs. At the time, John Podesta was Obama's senior adviser.
Relations with India was one of Podesta's areas of specialty in regards to his advising duties. Meanwhile, the Indian government was paying the Podesta Group to lobby on its behalf.
