ISIS Hackers Post Kill List With Photos And Addresses Of 100 U.S. Military Members

| by Kathryn Schroeder

Referring to themselves as the “Islamic State Hacking Division,” ISIS released a list of addresses Friday night claiming they belong to 100 members of the U.S. military they want murdered.

The group claimed to have obtained the personal information of military personnel from compromised military servers, databases and emails. The New York Daily News reports that ISIS believes the targeted military personnel were involved in the bombing of ISIS targets in Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Somalia and Afghanistan.

The statement, featuring the black flag frequently associated with ISIS, was published in a self-styled terrorist WikiLeaks titled “Target: United States Military.”

Names and photos accompanied the addresses in the online document and an informal review by The Blaze appeared to show matches between some names, photos and listed addresses.

“O Kuffar in America, O You who worship the cross, O You crusaders that fight the Islamic State, we say to you: “DIE IN YOUR RAGE!”, die in your rage because with the grace of Allah, The Islamic State Hacking Division (ISHD) has hacked several military servers, databases and emails and with all this access we have successfully obtained personal information related to military personnel in the United States Air Force, NAVY & Army,” the published statement said.

The statement calls upon their “brothers” in America to kill the military personnel on the list.

“ … [W]e have decided to leak the 100 addresses so that our brothers residing in America can deal with you,” the statement said.

The group continues their statement by mentioning that they do not view the “jihad against crusaders” as limited to the lands of “Khilafah;” it is a worldwide fight not only against the Islamic State, but Islam in general.

A call for the American supporters of ISIS is made to murder those on the list by means of beheading or stabbing.

“…All you need to do is take the final step, so what are you waiting for? [K]ill them in their own lands, behead them in their own homes, stab them to death as they walk their streets thinking that they are safe,” the statement said.

The U.S. military is investigating the matter, according to a federal representative.

"I can't confirm the validity of the information, but we are looking into it," a Department of Defense spokeswoman said. "The safety of our service members is always a concern."
