A U.K. pedophilia ring was unearthed when two of the ringleaders were found guilty of sexual assault against children.

According to the Daily Mail, the men involved broadcasted a live online stream of their abuses against babies and toddlers, many of whom had been drugged.

They reportedly coerced the children’s mothers into allowing them to have unsupervised time with the kids.

Seven men in all confessed to charges of child rape and sexual assault before the trial convened.

The National Crime Agency (NCA) were the ones who discovered the criminals’ global network of pedophiles. In all, they found 11 suspects in the U.K. and rescued 24 children from abuse. Three of these children—a 4-year-old boy, a preschooler, and a baby—were victims of rape and assault.

Sixty-nine people are suspected around the world and more arrests are expected to be made.

The men involved took advantage of mothers within their social circles in order to gain access to their children.

A spokesman for the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children said, “These men shared their abhorrent fantasies and honed in on very young children for sickening abuse, on easily accessible sections of the internet.”

“They even callously targeted pregnant women,” he continued.

Three of the men even raped one of the babies over the course of 9 months while others watched over a live Internet broadcast.

So far, juries have convicted John Denham, 49, a married father of 2, of planning sex crimes against a child and conspiracy to commit sexual assault; and Matthew Stansfield, 34, of two charges of conspiracy to rape and planning sex crimes against a child.

Adam Toms, 33; Christopher Knight, 35; Robin Hollyson, 30; David Harsley, 51; and Matthew Lisk, 32, also confessed to their crimes before the trial began.

Graham Gardner, the deputy director of investigations for the NCA said the gang’s reach stretched across the world.

“We rarely see criminal behavior involving the sexual abuse of children to this degree,” Gardner said. “This is serious organized crime at its worst. The depravity of these men appeared to know no bounds and is without doubt as vile as we have seen.”
