Dogs are reportedly going through parachute training with members of Colombia's military (video below).

The canines are being trained for search and rescue work, according to the video posted on RT.com.

In the video, a dog looks down on the surface of the earth as if he is an old pro.

The pooch is then strapped to a soldier's waist before they jump out of an airplane.

The military has a history of parachuting with dogs, and an anti-terrorism unit regularly jumps with their dogs from 1000 feet, Australia's 9News notes.

No word if the dogs in either case are compensated with special treats.
