A U.K. toddler who mysteriously went missing from a garden was found safe and sound July 27.
Lewis Palmer, 3, who is described as biracial with short curly hair, disappeared from the front yard of a home in Wilmslow, Cheshire, at around 1 p.m. July 27. He was wearing a bright blue top with orange shorts and no shoes.
Hours later, at 4 p.m., the child found his way back to the address where he was last seen, reports Daily Mail.
“We’re delighted to say Lewis has returned back to his home address. We’ve been really concerned for him,” says Investigator Jez Taylor.

“I’d like to thank all the public for being supportive this afternoon, and to all the officers and volunteers from Cheshire search and rescue.
Taylor added, “He’s traveled a good distance -- he’s gone further than would be expected. He certainly showed a great deal of initiative and found his own way back which we’re all delighted for.”
A large search party was organized after Palmer’s disappearance and residents were asked by Cheshire Police to look for the toddler.
“Lewis is a small 3-year-old child and we are becoming increasingly concerned about his whereabouts,” said Taylor.”
