With Royal Wedding Approaching, Guests Consider Plastic Surgery

| by

When invited to a fancy wedding, most women would buy a new dress. With the Royal Wedding date approaching in April, some women lucky enough to be invited are going much further than this. British socialite Tara Palmer-Tomkinson reportedly wants a new nose before she attends the wedding.

It's an extreme way to look good for a special event, but perhaps it's not surprising that Tara wants to have work done on her nose. She already underwent one nose job back in 2006 to repair the damage caused by her former cocaine addiction. Pictures of the operation, performed after the septum in her nose collapsed in 2006, were printed in several British tabloids.

The 39-year-old, who is one of 600 guests said to be invited to Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding breakfast, wants to straighten the shape of her bent nose. "If I can get my nose fixed for the wedding that would be ideal," she said. But with the April 29 ceremony quickly approaching, "I’m not sure it’s going to be possible but hopefully something can be done in time."

According to her friends, she is so embarrassed about the bend in her nose that she often wears a hat and dark glasses to disguise her appearance. The model herself said "I’m so paranoid about it. All I can think about is I just can’t wait to have it done. It’s something I’ve always wanted to have done but it needs a recovery time."
