With 15-Year-Old Phoebe Prince Dead, Tips for Kids Facing Cyberbullying
Officials in Massachusetts believe there's been another deadly case of cyberbullying in the apparent suicide of 15-year-old Phoebe Prince of South Hadley.
Prince moved last year to the area from Ireland. While making the transition to a new town and a new country, Prince, officials believe, became the target of intense cyberbullying, which may have contributed to her apparent suicide.
Prince was found dead in her home on Jan. 14, just days before a big school dance.
The issue of cyberbullying was addressed on CBS's "The Early Show," with a cyberbullying victim talking about her experience, and an expert who gives tips to parents on how to help their children:

This was helpful. Bullied kids are encouraged to talk to someone about bullying , and parents are advised to be sensitive to their kids and to draw them out. It would have been better if there had been encouragement for the parents to intercede at the school if the school does not stop the bullying.
This is complete BS. People like this, with their moaning and crybaby whining, will end up ending free speech on the internet .
Listen up. If you are on your computer, and some jerk is making you feel bad, there's this really cool thing called the "off" button. No really! It's not an exaggeration! There's actually a button that you can press on your computer that will turn the blamed thing off! Is that cool or what?
So quit being a sad, disgusting victim, reach up, and hit the off button. Then stand up, waddle yer under exercised butt over to the door and go for a walk in the sunshine. leave yer phone too. The world will go on perfectly fine without you shooting electrons from here to china for an hour.
Geez, and people just eat these crap stories up like they were candy .
