Dontrelle Willis Traded to Diamondbacks

| by Off The Record
A source tells Ed Price of AOL Fanhouse that the Detroit Tigers have traded Dontrelle Willis to the Arizona Diamondbacks. Willis was designated for assignment recently for stinking.

We don’t know the details of the deal yet, but one would have to think that the Tigers are going to eat the remaining portion of Willis’ contract.

Willis had a 4.98 ERA in nine starts for the Tigers this season. That’s actually not that awful when you look around MLB at some of the starters that are out there.
