Will Sarah Palin Take on Fox for "Family Guy" Down Syndrome Episode?

| by Mark Berman Opposing Views

Sarah Palin has made no secret of the fact that her baby Trig has Down syndrome. She recently took White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel and fellow conservative Rush Limbaugh to task for using the word "retard." But will she take the same tact against Fox, which is her employer, for an episode of "Family Guy" which appeared to mock her and Down syndrome?

In the show which aired on the Fox network Sunday night, the son, Chris, has a crush on a girl. When he finally works up the nerve to ask her on a date, the audience finds out she has Down syndrome.

While at dinner, when Chris asks her what her parents do for a living, she replies, ""My dad's an accountant, and my mom's the former governor of Alaska."

So far Palin has not commented on the episode. But she said Emanuel should be fired for his comment, and called Limbaugh "disrespectful" for his.

Palin is a paid contributor for Fox News, so it'll be interesting to see what, if any, her reaction will be.
