Bhakti Yoga is the practice of loving harder, and we experience that when our heart is open and we can express that compassion in the world. This class gives us the opportunity to raise our voice in the powerful bhakti yoga practice of chanting, and clear any resistance to compassion through a powerful vinyasa practice. Come to this practice ready for a vigorous vinyasa practice that will prepare our energetic body for the magic of devotional chanting. No previous chanting experience required. All levels, chanting and asana combined.
Sita, Ram, Hanuman
Sunday, June 19th | 1:30pm – 4:30pm
As one of yoga’s most beloved texts, the Ramayana is the epic tale, of a king, his lady and his best friend as they fight through darkness to rediscover love and light. We’ll honor the highlights of this tale and embody its lessons through specific postures and uplifting chanting. This tale is embodied through deep back bending, so this class will include a vigorous vinyasa practice that will prepare us to open our hearts for back bends. Learn the path of heart through this magical journey. Advanced class, chanting and asana combined.
