Weekend Box Office Recap: Lackluster, Shrek 4 on Top

| by

A lackluster number of new releases managed to keep Shrek 4 on top for another weekend.  "Get Him to the Greek" came in second behind the ogre, pullin in $17 mil.

The biggest loser was "Sex and the City 2," dropping almost 60% from its previous week's numbers. Letters to Juliet, Just Wright and MacGruber have fallen out of the list.

MacGruber fell 93% from last weekend, dropping from 9th to 20th. I guess people finally realized that the movie was indeed crap.
