Day three at Wanderlust Festival was a rager! We danced under the stars to Michael Franti, got our shakti on with Seane Corn, and more!
HIGHLIGHTS | DAY THREE
Saturday boasted an array of amazing yoga classes, eclectic performances, stimulating Speakeasy lectures, and epic concerts. Our sun salutations finally paid off as Day three also gave us our first glimpses of sunshine here in VT, setting the stage for what promises to be a great closing day here at Wanderlust. Check out some of our favorite day three highlights below and photos here.
Michael Franti & Spearhead
After an amazing Saturday that boasted our first sun-filled moments of the weekend, Michael Franti & Spearhead took the stage and rocked the masses for what was one of the most epic Wanderlust musical performances of all time. After the concert, Wanderlusters we’re spotted exiting the main stage areas beaming with love and light; the stage is officially set for what promises to be an amazing closing day here in Vermont.
Seane Corn & Michael Franti – Wanderlust Yoga Aid Challenge
Celebrating yoga, music, and community is one of the main pillars of the Wanderlust Festival, and there was no larger celebration on Saturday than the very special Off The Mat, Into The World Yoga Aid Challenge class w/ Michael Franti and Seane Corn. Echoing the mission of Off The Mat Into The World and YogaAid, Seane Corn lead a packed house through an inspiring and uplifting vinyasa flow as Michael Franti and his band serenaded the smile filled crowd. This was one of the most beautiful Wanderlust moments in history – we gathered in together and harnessed the power of music, yoga, and community to share our love and support a great cause.
Bryan Kest – Power Yoga Master Class
Bryan Kest’s Power Yoga Master Class kicked off Saturday in the Gaiam Tent. Bryan encouraged Wanderlusters to focus on the process of the power yoga practice, not the result. It was a beautiful way to breathe deep, open up, and kick Saturday off with a bang.
Speakeasy | Meet the Fockers – Meet the Fockers (of Wanderlust)
Jeff Krasno, Sean Hoess, and Schulyer Grant
This special speakeasy allowed Wanderlusters the ability to connect with none other than the triumvirate of Wanderlust creators – Jeff, Sean, and Schuyler. Expressing their heart felt gratitude and their commitment to building community, Jeff, Sean, and Schulyer discussed the vision and intention behind Wanderlust Festival and fielded questions in an open discussion format from all who were in attendance.
Jermey Simon & Jennifer Yaro – The AcroYoga Playground
Packing over 80 fun loving yogis into a room that was supposed to hold only 30, The AcroYoga Playground blended elements of yoga, acrobatics, and thai massage together to form an amazingly fun play-filled party.
John Friend – Sacred Geometry
Piggybacking on some of the points expressed in last night’s lecture from Deepak Chopra, John Friend offered the Wanderlust crowd a special “Sacred Geometry” class in the Gaiam tent that was half lecture, half asana, and a whole lot of love.
