Violent Crime Drops 5.5% in 2009, GOP Blames Obama
Responding to an FBI report that says violent crime dropped by 5.5% overall across the country -- and in all four regions of the U.S. in 2009 -- angry Republican leaders immediately criticized President Barack Obama for the lack of more murders and rapes during his first year in office.
"We have a president who is apparently going to stand by and just watch the rate of crime drop," said John Boehner (R-Ohio). "Frankly, that is un-American. This country should be number 1 in everything -- job loss, war-mongering, violent crime. Then again, what else do you expect from this Administration and the activist judges destroying our Consitution?"
The Tea Party convened an emergency meeting on Monday so they could draw more racist posters that mock Obama as a "Peace-Loving, Kenyan Ghandi Wannabe."
"Less crime? My God, what has happened to our country?" Tea Party leader Mark Williams said. "What happened to all the black-on-black crime of my youth? As a boy, I remember the beautiful sound of gunshots and savage beatings down the block (way down the block). Now we have a president who is playing basketball while that beloved American tradition ends."
Sarah Palin took to her Facebook page right after the report was announced: "Todd and me (sic) are worried sick about this disturbing trend. Obama said he was four (sic) change. Is this the kind of socialist change he was blabbing about? I mean, he's already trying too (sic) take our guns away from us -- now he wants to take away our crime? Think about our future generations. Think about them walking to school without fear. I don't want to live in that America."
A tearful Glen Beck appeared at his blackboard: What did the Nazis do right before World War II? They tried to stop violent crime. Of course, they did some violent things -- but the drop in crime came first! Well, Barack Obama is succeeding at his grand master plan, and we're just standing by. We become more and more like Nazi Germany each day.
On his Excellence in Broadcasting Network, Rush Limbaugh chastised the president, saying "this is a wake up call for all good people who care about this country. Barack Hussein Obama is more concerned about some greasy seagulls than the loss of American crime. This is an outrage! Bring back Bush!"
In an emergency session, the Arizona Legislature passed SB 2020, which will immediately arm all brown people illegal aliens with automatic weapons, knowing they will surely rob the nearest convenience store and drive the crime rate back where it belongs.

T-Party lies
The tea party (TM) and the republican party is a dividing party they are not even honest with themselves. They call themselves tea party patriots when the boston tea party was about representation not being against taxes , they didn't want to pay taxes to a foriegn body that could careless about them. They hate Obama, i mean, his policies but he's the bigger man did anybody catch Obama getting back at the tea partiers when he was in Mich. Oh my goodness, he did it with grace. You gotta check the story and you cannot keep hating the man

Opinions as News
Lots of mockery and slander here. It's these types of bitter attacks which stir confusion. Some will assume this is real and continue to spread it.
Very irresponsible.

C'mon now.
With all of the distortions and exaggerations in politics , by the right but sadly by the left as well (eh, Mr. Blumenthal?), it was a pleasure to read this article. Satire has always been an effective way to highlight hypocrisy and human frailties wherever they arise, from THE TROJAN WOMEN to "A Modest Proposal" to SNL. The article simply makes the valid point that there are a lot of people, politicians and ordinary citizens alike, who are reflexively anti-Obama regardless of how his policies will improve our country and their own lives. And if one hasn't read it, Obama's graduation address at Michigan is excellent...please read it with an open mind and maybe we can tone down the rhetoric and come together as Americans .

Is this a joke?
Seriously, this is the most ridiculous article I have ever read. Do a simple search on the web for "John Boehner crime " and see if you can find this supposed quote above. It doesn't exist. Representative Boehner never said those words. This is either a joke or just more typical left-wing fantasy reporting.

This is more like a very poorly written Onion article. Should be removed.

America the Great Country
It is only in America that any one can write or say whatever they think or wish about anyone else and get away with it. Americans can discredit their President, curse out the President, say all kinds of nasty things about their President, burn effigy of their President, tantamount their President to Hitler and get away with it...scot-free. Thank God for freedom of speech that is respected!
In most countries, when you write or say bad things about your leaders, more so your President, you are telling the whole world that you have the kind of President that you potray in what you write. If your President is that bad, ugly, heartless etc...why was he elected by such an overwhelming majority? Why was the whole world happy for him? Why did the entire world jubilate?
This is why fanatics, including "special police " and/or loyal subjects will see to it that when anyone writes or speaks evil of the country's leader, he/she is held accountable. In most developing countries, that individual and probably his/her family will be picked up in the middle of the night to: "their faith". Only God knows what happens where they are taken, however, if he/she is ever seen again, he/she will become a loyal subject...by force or by choice.
Politics should have its limits in the way they handle the affairs of people in authority. The Holy Bible, commands that we pray for our leaders. Pray for giudance, for protection, for the decisions they face and make; for them to be good leaders and lead the people with the fear of God.
What do we have here? A president who inherited mountains of issues more than any President that came before him... The opposition expect him to resolve problems that was greated in eight years in less than two years in office! Meanwhile, the carbinet positions he needs to carry out the great job he is doing has not been fully confirmed by the US Senate ! What an irony!
Please let us judge people not by their color, but by the "content of their character".
Each time we dehumanise our fellow human beings, we are actually potraying our insecurities and our lack of love for fellow human beings. Let us unite to make this country the greatest country in the world that it used to be.
Recall that Americans lived in absolute fear for eight years prior to Obama coming into power as a dynamic "man on mission". The world is beginning to treasure, love and respect America and Americans once more. Do not forget a few years ageo when you have to hide your USA Pasport while travelling overseas. Thanks to the diplomatic effort of my friend and sister, Secretary Hilary Clinton who is doing such a mavellous job without being mouthy about it. America's image all over the world has never been so great! Americans are once more prowd to waive their Pasports anywhere in the world oncemore! I am American and I am Proud!
Peace to all Peace Lovers!

I think this is hysterical.........
and not pointing any fingers, but in the last year or so, Obama has been blamed for everything negative that has happened, except for the volcanic eruptions in Iceland. And a lot of cases he was blamed incorrectly, not always, but some.
And in nearly every case there has been a soothsayer pouring on the criticizm and "I told you this was going to happen". Every name mentioned here has been in the line.
So yes I think this a hoot. Hats off to the author.

funny thing is
They did it to Bush.
I wasn't quite old enough to remember it well, but I think they did it to Clinton too.
Recent phenomenon. Its all the presidents fault. He's in direct control of everything, and in no way to any of the congressmen, senators , his cabinet, Local and state governments, natural occurrences etc have any effect.
I predicted that it would all be Obama's fault. :p

It is his fault.
I was under the impression that he was going to take our guns away to do it since they are the cause of all the crime . He went and let it go down without so much as a call or email promising that he will stop by and pick them up later even though it's not necessary to make crime go down.
