Young Boy Sells Lemonade To Fund His Own Adoption

9­-year-­old boy sells lemonade to help fund his adoption. After Tristan was abandoned at a homeless shelter at age 5. Donnie and her husband lovingly accepted Tristan into their family. Now they’re trying to make it official. Tristan and Donnie set up yard sales and lemonade stands and started a crowdfunding campaign called Tristan’s Adoption Fund. Between the various fundraisers, they’ve raised over $28,000. Enough to cover adoption fees and cost of care, and to start a college fund. Donnie Davis says, “I can not say thank you enough to everyone that has helped. He’s already a part of our family. That’s our son."
