Officer Dresses As Superhero For 5-Year-Old's Funeral

On April 2, Joshua Garcia went missing and drowned in a neighbor’s pool. Police Officer Damon Cole was the first on the scene. When Cole arrived, he was already too late. Joshua’s family says he loved superheroes, so they honored him with a superhero funeral. Cole came dressed as Spiderman so Joshua could be laid to rest with his hero standing by his side. Joshua’s family made Officer Cole a plaque for all he had done. Cole says he will cherish it for the rest of his life
