WASHINGTON -- Ms. Johansson recently did a national television video supporting Planned Parenthood.
Sadly, Scarlett Johansson did not mention that Planned Parenthood was founded by Margaret Sanger, a racist who supported the Ku Klux Klan, spoke at their rallies and encouraged the elimination of African-Americans.
"Defund Klanned Parenthood" is a national campaign encouraging members of Congress to stop giving billions of tax dollars to an extremist organization founded on racist principles.
Public monies should only go to organizations that embrace human rights, social justice and equality for all.

Kaitlin Martinez, who appears on the Scarlett Johansson video, states,
"As a woman committed to equality, I encourage members of Congress to stop giving billions of dollars to an organization founded on such racist, bigoted and extremist roots.
"Margaret Sanger, the Founder of Planned Parenthood, was a racist and bigot who supported the Ku Klux Klan and their hate filled agenda.
"Sadly, when Scarlett Johansson filmed this promo for Planned Parenthood, she failed to mention that and also that this organization is the largest provider of abortions for African-Americans.

"Scarlett, we encourage you to support women, embrace human rights and justice for all and stand on the right side of history."
Rev. Patrick J. Mahoney, Director of the Christian Defense Coalition, comments,
"It is hard to believe that Congress has given billions of dollars to an organization that was founded on such racist and bigoted roots. We should only fund groups that embrace justice and human rights for all.
"It is tragic that Planned Parenthood still venerates Margaret Sanger and has not disassociated themselves from her teachings. We will continue to work diligently to see that not one more taxpayer penny is given to this extremist organization."
Troy Newman, President of Operation Rescue, adds,
"This video parody is part of a nationwide campaign to defund Planned Parenthood. We will not rest until Congress stops giving public money to the largest abortion provider in the world and an organization founded by a KKK supporter.
"We will continue to have demonstrations, rallies and lobby Congress to ensure Planned Parenthood never gets another taxpayer dollar."
