Tureniec Takes Control at EPT Copenhagen

| by

Following what has to be considered an off year in 2010, 2008 EPT London runner-up Tureniec appears to be returning to form.

The Swede built a big chip lead as the EPT Copenhagen field was whittled down from 262 to 73 on the event's second day Wednesday.

After showing huge promise earning seven-figures in 2008, Tureniec posted a little less than $500k in tournament scores in 2009.

Then last year he practically dropped off the map, booking less than $200k in earnings from two scores at an Aussie Millions and EPT Barcelona side event.
