Amansala has two beautiful locations – one in Tulum, Mexico and another in Ibiza, Spain. Neither of these places would be too horrible to have to visit. The Bikini Bootcamp isn’t your typical wight loss program – it’s a holistic approach to toning up your body while having an amazing time, meeting new people, and relaxing in a gorgeous location. The program includes daily yoga, fitness classes, tours to explore the highlights of the area, 2 pampering massages, their signature Mayan clay treatment, healthy great food and time to relax on the beautiful beach.

About the Programs and the Experience
Bikini Boot Camp is weight loss vacation, yoga retreat, and fitness holiday, but with so much more. Each day begins with a a stretch on the beach followed by a one hour power walk, and then varies from there to include a high energy cardio workout, some sort of sculpt, yoga, as well as other activities that may include an inspiring salsa, African or belly dance class, an insightful meditation session or an informative presentation on the local culture, area or nutrition. Each program tailored to the specific location. The idyllic setting, along with fresh healthy meals and active days are the perfect way to shed a few pounds, meet like minded people and recharge your batteries.
Bootcamp is a perfect place for a fitness vacation for the solo traveler or to share with a sister, an old friend, mother or partner. We offer special discounts for groups of 5 or more for a reunion, bachelorette party or special event. We also have specialized sessions that include co-ed singles, mother daughters and couplesl. Bikini Bootcamp is a carefree way to a hard body
There is no pressure to participate in any of the activities although we hope everyone does. The atmosphere in non competitive and we get guests at various fitness levels. The most important thing is to come with an open mind and to work at ones own pace. Guests are encouraged to set their intentions on what they want to get out of their visit and work on making postive changes to bring back to their daily lives.
We also include three excursions to see the highlights of the area and for our Tulum location include a visit to the nearby jungle for swimming in some of the fresh water swimming holes (cenotes), visits to Mayan ruins of Tulum and Coba and snorkeling in the Carribean sea. Optional activites include kite surfing lessons and scuba diving either in the cenotes which are world famous or the sea, which can be arranged for an extra charge during free time.

How it All Started….
After years traveling the world experiencing the best and the worst of hotels, Melissa Perlman knew what she wanted to create. A place where people could come – solo or with friends, have an adventure, eat healthy food, do yoga, workout, meet like minded people and return home feeling and looking better than when they arrived.
Amansala is taken from the two Sanskrit words Peace and Water which was the name of Melissa’s small import export business many years ago. While Melissa had toyed with the idea of starting a traveling spa, she found herself drawn back time and time again to Tulum and decided to create the Bikini Bootcamp headquaters in one of her all time favorite places in the world.
After years of traveling through Southeast Asia and experiencing the best and the worst of hotels, she knew what she wanted to create. A place where people could come, solo or with their partners or friends, and have an adventure where they would meet other like minded people, eat good healthy food, be on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, workout, do yoga, see the highlights of the area, and return home feeling and looking better than when they arrived.
Amansala is all about getting back to basics, but with style and comfort and that is reflected from the moment you set foot on the property. With the beautiful fabrics blowing in the wind, to the one of a kind mosaic ceramics in the bathrooms, to the friendly staff… you know you have arrived to a unique piece of paradise. She set out to create an atmosphere that would feel more like staying at a friends beach house than a hotel, and she has definitely succeeded.
