Tracy Morgan, formerly of SNL, and currently on the hit television comedy "30 Rock," underwent a kidney transplant and is recovering nicely.
The kidney transplant, which took place on December 10th, was considered a success.
Tracy Morgan’s publicist released the following statement after the kidney transplant: “Tracy is doing well and taking some much needed time to recover after the surgery.” He adds that Tracy is “looking forward to going back to work after the holidays.”
The next season of "30 Rock" is set to premiere in March. The first few episodes will not include Tracy as he is recovering during filming.

Morgan was diagnosed with diabetes in 1996 and that boy likes to party, so after this transplant he might want to tone it down a bit!
