Some 35 million Americans claim Irish heritage, which is impressive considering that there are only about 4 million people in Ireland.
NBC's Meredith Vieira, reporting on location from Dublin Castle, traces America's Irish history and gives us one more reason to celebrate this St. Patrick's Day.
