Police: Florida Woman Chased Black Teens With Bat, Yelled Slurs (Video)

| by Michael Allen

Lisa Marie Elberson was arrested in Clermont, Florida, for allegedly chasing some black teens with a baseball bat and yelling racial slurs on Sunday evening.

One of the teens filmed part of the incident with his cell phone (video below) and caught a woman, identified as Elberson, holding a bat and speaking the slurs, according to a Lake County deputy's report.

One of the teens told law enforcement that Elberson's husband got into an argument earlier with them on Sunday. Later that same day, the teens walked by the couple's home, and another argument happened involving Elberson and her husband, notes the Orlando Sentinel.

WFTV reports (video below), "The video shows Elberson holding a bat and saying racial and homophobic slurs. She allegedly told the teenager that she would hang his family from her tree."

Elberson later told deputies that she didn't carry the bat in an aggressive manner or spit on anyone, as one of the teens claimed.

Elberson was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, child abuse and simple battery.

In the video, the teens seem to be laughing while Elberson (allegedly) carries the bat.
