Rev. Franklin Graham: Lightning May Strike White House Because Barack Obama Supports Gay Marriage

| by Michael Allen

Rev. Franklin Graham lashed out at President Barack Obama on July 7 for the rainbow colors that lit up the White House on June 26 when the U.S. Supreme Court ruled for gay marriage.

The conservative evangelist wrote on Facebook:

"A lot has changed in three short years! Just three years ago, the President was on record as holding to the biblical definition of marriage.

"Now he can't say enough about his support for the LGBT agenda — and right after the Supreme Court’s decision to legalize same-sex marriage, he had the gall to disgrace the White House by lighting it up with the gay pride rainbow colors to celebrate.

"This is arrogantly flaunting sinful behavior in the face of Almighty God. My advice? He might want to have some extra lightning rods installed on the roof of the White House."

After the U.S. Supreme Court decision, Obama made this statement, notes The Christian Post:

"This ruling is a victory for America. This decision affirms what millions of Americans already believe in their hearts. When all Americans are treated as equal, we are all more free.

"I know that Americans of good will continue to hold a wide range of views on this issue. Opposition, in some cases, has been based on sincere and deeply held beliefs. All of us who welcome today's news should be mindful of that face and recognize different viewpoints, revere our deep commitment to religious freedom."
