Christine O'Donnell: Didn't Walk Out on Piers Morgan Because of Gay Marriage Questions

| by Michael Allen

Former Republican Senate candidate Christine O’Donnell told Fox 5 News (video below) that she walked out of an interview with CNN’s Piers Morgan on Wednesday not because he was asking her about gay marriage, but because “he would not stop trying to talk about sex.”

“Well, first of all, I want to set the record straight, it wasn’t the question on gay marriage,” O'Donnell claimed. “He had a decidedly inappropriate line of questions leading up to that, that many people, bloggers, are saying was just border-line creepy.”

O’Donnell also claimed that she left the interview because of a “very tight schedule” and “was already late for a Republican Women’s event.”

However, during the controversial interview, O’Donnell says repeatedly that she would rather not answer questions about gay marriage, but instead talk about “fiscal issues” in her new book. After calling Morgan “rude” several times, O’Donnell leaves the set as seen here.
