| by

In what could have been called TFC 18: Team K2L Grind house, the Kansas City, Missouri based team seemly had a fighter in ever bout on the main card. The crowd favorites actually only had five fighters on the main card that was seven bouts overall.

With The Voice and Frank Trigg behind the microphones, TFC 18 provided loads of action at the Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kansas.

This judge looked an inmate square in the eyes and did something that left the entire courtroom in tears:

Ripley got mount very early in the fight and took the back of Wilson. He lost that position and Wilson was now on top and went for a knee bar that turn into an Ankle Lock submission.

Jesse Zeugin (5-1) vs. Joe Wilk (11-5) – Joe Wilk by 1st rd. Submission (Darce Choke)

The two were clinched for a long time before Wilk’s gets the takedown. Good work from the top by Wilk who would grab a neck as Zeugin attempts to get up and lock in a Darce choke.

Nick Budig (5-1) vs. Bobby Cooper (4-2) – Bobby Cooper by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27)

Budig spent the entire fight looking for the one punch knockout while his opponent, Copper peppered his face with straight jabs. After 15 minutes of stand up action the face of Budig was all the proof needed of who won the fight.

Jared Rosholt (2-0) vs. Kirk Grinlinton (2-2) – Jared Rosholt by 1st rd. TKO

After displaying some shaky standup, Rosholt gets a double leg takedown right into full mount. Grinlinton had nowhere to go as Rosholt punished him until the referee stopped the fight.

Darryl Cobb (6-2) vs. Rudy Bears (12-7) – Rudy Bears by 1st round Submission (Rear Naked Choke)

The two exchanged kicks early and are back and forth. Cobb blasts Bears with a counter right hand sending him backwards into the cage. Cobb runs in though and gets caught with a left /right that puts him down. Bears gets the back of Cobb and sinks in a rear naked choke that forces cob to tab.

Jake Rosholt (11-3) vs. John Ott (8-8) – John Ott by DQ (knee to grounded opponent)

Rosholt completely dominated this fight, opening up multiple cuts on the face of Ott and manhandling him throughout the fight. The fight could have easily been stopped as Ott was a bloody mess from a deep cut on the bridge of the nose. The doctor let it go and in the third round a tired Ott was getting up and had one knee up, while the other was down and Rosholt hit him with an illegal knee. The fight was stoppage as a wobbly Ott would lay down as the doctors looked at him. When the dust settled Ott was given the win via Matt Hamill-esque DQ.

Jens Pulver (24-14-1) vs. Brian Davidson (6-3) – Brian Davidson by 1st rd. Submission (Rear Naked Choke)

Davidson showed very early that he was the quicker and faster fighting in the cage. Jens gets a single leg takedown into the full guard of Davidson who lands an illegal up kick, forcing a time out. A staggered Jens walks to the other side of the cage and takes a knee. The fight continues from the standing position and Jens scores another takedown. Some legal up kicks allow Davidson to get back up and then he stuffs a takedown by Jens and rocks him with a right uppercut that puts Jens on his back. Davidson muscles Jens down when he tried to get up and takes the veterans back and chokes out the former UFC champion.
