Tinkering with U.S. Global Warming Data? Say it Ain’t So!

The credibility of temperature readings collected at England’s Climate Research Unit has been greatly undermined after admissions by its keepers that they “adjusted” some, suppressed others and ignored others. The Russians have chimed in big time on this score.

But at least the data collected to excuse oppressive laws to “fight” global warming here in the old U.S. of A. are reliable. Aren’t they?

Well, not exactly. This fair and balanced (as they say) headline speaks to the point:

NASA Data Worse Than Climate-Gate Data, Space Agency Admits

The story explains: “By its own admission, NASA’s temperature records are in even worse shape than the besmirched Climate-gate data. E-mail messages obtained by a Freedom of Information Act request reveal that NASA concluded that its own climate findings were inferior to those maintained by both the University of East Anglia’s Climatic Research Unit (CRU) — the scandalized source of the leaked Climate-gate e-mails — and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s National Climatic Data Center.”

Gosh, we’re stunned to find out such a thing about “settled science.”

Perhaps we should ask again: “Does anyone want to drastically dismantle the world economy based on this stuff?”

“We shouldn’t make decisions affecting millions of American jobs when the data isn’t credible,” Sen. John Barrasso (R-Wyo) said.

Hey what a wild idea that is, hm? What do you think?
