BALTIMORE --- Felicia "Snoop" Pearson, an actress who portrayed an androgynous soldier of the same name on TV's The Wire, was arrested during a drug raid Thursday in Baltimore.
DEA agents and Baltimore police carried out the operation, which yielded dozens of arrests. Police have not said what charges she faces.
Critics have argued The Wire's realistic and insightful portrayal of an American city's complicated war on drugs made it one of television's best shows ever.
But a life shackled by crime and illegal drugs may be a bit too real for "Snoop" Pearson.

According to the Associated Press: Pearson was convicted of second-degree murder as a teenager. In 2008, she was arrested on a minor drug charge when police went to her home to pick her up for refusing to cooperate as a witness in a murder trial. Court records show she was found not guilty on the charge.
