The "Hidden Lies' In Obama's Health Care Plan

Even the Associated Press admits that President Obama is not telling the truth about his health care plan and how it would affect health insurance premiums, in a news story entitled, “FACT CHECK: Premiums Would Rise Under Obama.” (The Associated Press is so pro-Obama that it depicted criticism of Obama’s links to the unrepentant former terrorist Bill Ayers as somehow being “racist” even though Ayers is white, and so liberal that it claimed that the Democratic Party platform was “centrist”). The AP writes, “Buyers, beware: President Barack Obama says his health care overhaul will lower premiums by double digits, but check the fine print.” The AP notes that the Congressional Budget Office “concluded that premiums for people buying their own coverage would go up by an average of 10 percent to 13 percent, compared with the levels they’d reach without the legislation.”
Earlier, the AP admitted that Obama’s health care plan “would drive up the deficit by billions of dollars,” and that Obama was not telling the truth about the extent to which abortions are covered under his plan.
The procedural gimmick that congressional leaders plan to use to enact Obamacare is unconstitutional, writes law professor Michael McConnell, who recently retired as a judge on the Tenth Circuit Circuit Court of Appeals (clearing the way for Obama to appoint a replacement), in The Wall Street Journal. The so-called “Slaughter solution” violates Article 1, Section 7 of the Constitution, and the Supreme Court’s rulings in Clinton v. New York (1998) and INS v. Chadha (1983).
A CBS News commentary notes that ObamaCare would create perverse incentives for employers to create a divisive two-tier labor market, and for some employees to keep their income from rising lest they lose more in government health care subsidies than they would gain in take-home pay due to provisions in ObamaCare that condition health-care subsidies on not increasing your income beyond a specified level, and thus constitute a “massive penalty if their income rises.”
A pro-Obama New York Times columnist admits that ObamaCare’s enormous cost is hidden by dishonest gimmicks. Earlier, health care cost expert James C. Capretta explained how “Obamacare Is A Budgetary Disaster” that will cost at least $1.4 trillion more than promised.
A governor explains how Obamacare would cause massive harm to his state, such as “job losses,” and says it would add “more than a trillion dollars to the national debt.”
There are $3,000,000,000,000 in tax increases in Obama’s budget. But he’s spending money at such a furious pace that the deficit will skyrocket anyway: “The president’s budget would borrow 42 cents for each dollar spent in 2010,” and “double the national debt over the next decade.”
Obama’s health care plan will further increase deficits, as even Democrats have admitted. Obamacare would reduce medical innovation, raise taxes, drive up insurance premiums, break campaign promises, and increase state deficits. It would cut the quality of care, while imposing restrictions that failed when tried at the state level. It ignores advice from experts about how to cut costs.

Other countries like Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the UK have a national health system that costs less than the American non-system.
They spend less on health but they live longer.

The UK is trying to repeal their national health care .
Canadians come to the US for surgery because they can actually get it done before they die.
Australia and New Zealand consider it one of the biggest mistakes they ever made.

Yet you do.
You chose to believe ALL the propaganda you read supporting it, yet dismiss anything against it as unsubstantiated. The best support Obama's gotten is from Fidel CASTRO!!!!! I'd be here all day listing every foreign politician who's told us they know from experience this is not going to work . We're well on our way to being the Socialist Republic of America. Nikita Khrushchev once stated that the USSR would not lose the Cold War because they would plant the seed of Socialism in America. That seed started to bloom a few years ago. It won't be long before we'll be jailed just for posting comments on this site that go against the government . We have Congressmen who clearly stated that they don't care what the American people want, and a President who has made comments like "The American people don't know what's best for them," and "The Constitution is an obstacle I will have to work around." (while campaigning)
Who's to say the propaganda you provided is the popular consensus of these nations? I know people from Australia who have told me it's a huge mistake that we were even considering this. Canada is constantly in the news because people can't get life saving surgery, and have to come to the states.

And from the Canadian Medical Association President, Dr. Anne Doig: "We all agree that the system is imploding, we all agree that things are more precarious than perhaps Canadians realize...We know that there must be change ...We're all running flat out, we're all just trying to stay ahead of the immediate day-to-day demands."
The best example we can give is Canada and Cuba. Both of which are a mess. A week before Fidel Castro applauded Obama for getting Obamacare through, his brother, Raul, stated that the Cuban health care system has been bankrupt for years and most likely won't exist in a year. I know someone who studied to be a Doctor in Cuba before coming to the states. She told me the hospitals aren't as clean as our public restrooms, there's no equipment, and the only available medical textbooks were in languages noone knew because of Cuba's poor educational system.

Congratulations for supplying evidence
Well, at least you have provided evidence instead of empty rhetoric. Yes, universal health schemes aren't perfect and they sure are expensive. However, the American system appears to be even more wasteful of resources.

It shows that both the American and French systems face the same problems of rising demand, ageing populations and rising unemployment . However, a chart provides stark evidence that whatever might be the problems of the French system, it only costs 11% of GDP whereas the present US system costs 16% of GDP.
Now let's look at life expectancy. The CIA reports that France has an average life expectancy of 80.98 years whereas the United States has an average life expectancy of 78.11 years. https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/rankorder/2102rank.html
France pays less of its GDP for health and gets a better health outcome: 2.87 years, or more than a thousand extra days of life, on average. Now even if a lot of this difference is due to social conditions and not on medical care, it doesn't reflect well on the present set-up in your country.
Universal health care is no panacea but the current American system appears to be even worse.

Not everyone will
The Obama administration admits up to 10 million people will still be without health care . You know why they wanted it? The same reason Bill Clinton did. Government collects taxes for Social Security and Medicare. They then "borrow" from it. Problem is they never put it back, and they emptied those pockets. So, let's scare people into thinking they'll all die if we don't get MORE taxes from them for health care. Then we'll clean that out too.
The best part is, they get to decide how the money coming in is used. They'll use as little as possible and pocket the rest. "Sorry it took a year to get you in to see a Doctor, Mr. Smith, but now your cancer has advanced to the point where it's no longer financially beneficial for us to try to cure it. NEXT!"
Obama also stated that when up to 60% of the Doctors in America said they'd rather quit than deal with Obamacare, he saw this as a good thing. Less Doctors to pay means less expense. When, in reality (Obama has a problem with reality), less Doctors means more sick people not being treated.
Then again, during the campaign, he stated that the Constitution was "an obstacle I'll have to work around."
