Boom! Legendary football commentator, former NFL coach and catchphrase machine John Madden today announced that he is officially retiring from his broadcasting duties.

"There's never been anyone like him and he's been the gold standard for analysts for almost three decades," said Al Michaels, Madden's broadcast partner on Monday Night Football, in a statement.
