The stepmother of missing Oregon boy Kyron Horman is fighting back against allegations leveled against her by her estranged husband.
Lawyers for Terri Horman filed a legal motion on Friday that blasts a motion that was earlier filed by Kaine Horman. His motion claimed Terri had something to do with Kyron's disappearance, and that she may have caused him "unimaginable harm."
It said she is "an emotionally disturbed individual," and asked a court to deny Terri visitation with the couple's two-year-old daughter Kiara. Kaine added that he thinks Terri is "focused on her own needs rather than the needs of Kiara or my missing Kyron."
But Terri's motion claims Kaine is more focused on his wife's destruction than their daughter's best interests. It also alleges that Kaine is out to sabotage Terri's mother-daughter relationship with Kiara.
The girl is currently living with Kaine. Terri is trying to get shared custody.
Terri was the last person to see Kyron after he vanished from school in June. She has not been named as a suspect, but the investigation is clearly focused on her.
