Simona Halep has something that many women would kill for -- large breasts. But for the 18 year old, they were a hindrance to her chosen profession -- tennis player. So she had them reduced in an effort to help her game.
The Romanian said her 34DDs gave her back pain and affected her on-court performance.
"It’s the weight that troubles me. My ability to react quickly, my breasts make me uncomfortable when I play."

Fans -- mostly men -- begged her not to do it, but she did. And, after spending last summer recovering from surgery, she now sports a more modest 34C:
But her new figure couldn't help her in the opening round of the French Open on Monday, where the 114th ranked player lost.
Even still, Simona is happy with her decision, one she says she would have made even if she weren't a tennis player:
"I don’t like them in my everyday life, either. I would have gone for surgery even if I hadn’t been a sportswoman."
