Nashville Police: Bank Robber Dropped His Bible During Getaway

An unidentified man who allegedly robbed a bank on Jan. 8 in Nashville, Tennessee, accidentally left his Bible behind, according to police.

The unarmed suspect handed a note to a Bank of America teller, demanding cash, UPI reported.

According to a press release on Nashville's government website, the teller complied.

The suspect then fled the scene, dropping his Bible on the way out, in a red, older-model vehicle.

The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department released surveillance video still images of the suspect, and said that it is working with the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force to solve the crime.

Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect, who is described as "a white man who appears to be in his 40s. He is approximately 5’5” tall and weighs approximately 200 pounds with light brown/red hair and mustache."
