Apple's next two iPhones are rumored to be released in September, just ten days after they are announced.

The phones will be the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 6, the latter of which will be a cheaper option.

If it happens, it will be the first time in the company's history that two phones are released during the same month.

Rumors about the release dates for the phones started around April when sources close to the company leaked info about its production.

In June, those rumors became more concrete, with sources claiming the iPhone 5S would be released as soon as September.

They also believe there will be a cheaper iPhone, made of plastic and sold in a range of colors. Both phones will run iOS 7, the newest software which will be released around the same time.

Dave Smith, a reporter from IBT, said, "By all accounts, the iPhone 5S will look identical its predecessor for the iPhone 5, with the exception of a few cosmetic changes. Apple has reportedly adopted dual-LED flash for its rear-facing camera, which means that circular flash is now pill shaped, and many believe the iPhone 5S camera has been improved from the 8-megapixels in the iPhone 5, likely to 12-megapixels."

"Photos leaked in mid-June on Macrumours show off some of these reported features, lead us to believe the iPhone 5S photos are indeed legitimate and the phone is preparing for its September release date."

He also thinks the iPhone 5S will be the first to feature an A7 chip. It will also support LTE-Advanced network speeds, twice as fast as 4G and ten times the speed of 3G.

They also reportedly upgraded the battery to a higher capacity of 5.82 Whr.

"The biggest new feature inside the iPhone 5S, by all accounts, is said to be the integrated fingerprint sensor embedded directly in the 'home' button, which will likely replace the need for entering usernames and passwords again and again on your phone," Smith said.

The hope is that the cheaper model will be a competitor to Samsung and LTE which both have cheaper designs.

Brian White, an analyst, said the iPhone 6 might be just $99.
