if you're the type who wastes hours on Facebook, you may soon be blowing your money as well.

Facebook has approved the app Bingo Friendzy, a real money gambling app in the U.K.

To play Bingo Frenzy, users will have to verify their age and location via their Facebook account, reports DailyDot.com.

Then bingo players provide Bingo Friendzy with their bank account information and make a deposit with the site to start playing.

But what about employers snooping on Facebook profiles?  No worries. Facebook will use age-gating technology to ensure gambling activity doesn’t appear on members' timelines.

A Facebook spokeswoman told the BBC: “Real money gaming is a popular and well-regulated activity in the UK and we are allowing a partner to offer their game to adult users on the Facebook platform in a safe and controlled manner.”

Business Insider reported in January 2012 that online gambling could eventually make Facebook a $100 billion business.
