Nestle Places GPS Devices Inside Candy Bars

Nestle recently announced that it is placing GPS devices inside its candy bars. Before you call the ACLU, this is actually a contest, reports CBS Seattle.

Nestle has launched its “We Will Find You” contest in the United Kingdom where GPS tracking devices were placed inside six candy bars [Kit-Kat, Aero and Yorkie are the brands]. 

When the winning candy bar wrapper is opened, the GPS will signal and Nestle officials will be able to find the exact location of the customer. Nestle employees will board a helicopter, find the special bar and give the owner 10,000 pounds [about $16,145 in the U.S.].

CNET reports that Nestle put up 3,000 posters to help promote the contest and this video (below).
