Drone Crashes, Hits 'Great Bull Run' Audience (Video)

| by Michael Allen

An unmanned drone crashed into the audience at the Virginia Motorsports Park during the Great Bull Run on Saturday.

It is not known who was operating the drone or why it suddenly dropped into the stands in Dinwiddie County, Virginia.

"It just hit a dude in the face. That was crazy," said a man who recorded a video (below) of the accident.

Five people suffered minor injuries and were treated by medical personnel at the event, which included four bull runs where people try to outrun 24 bulls.

“We are investigating to see if the person flying the unmanned aircraft violated any FAA regulations, particularly the part that says, 'No person may operate an aircraft in a careless or reckless manner so as to endanger the life or property of another,'” said the FAA in a statement to WTVR.
