Apple is releasing its much-anticipated iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C on Friday, but hard-core customers are already lining up outside Apple stores.

Customers are sleeping outside Apple's New York City store on Fifth Avenue and on Regent Street in London, noted the Daily Mail.

In New York, customers rolled out sleeping bags, camping chairs and Apple electronics to make the wait more bearable (picture right).

In London, Gad Harari, 17, set up a tent on Tuesday for his four-day wait (video below).

Harari has refused an offer of $300 for his place in line, but says he might give it up for $1500.

He and his friend Noah Green, 17, have been sheltered from London's rainy weather under a green tent, which has an Apple computer inside.

"We are always among the first to get a new iPhone. I came down last night to be the first, this time we really wanted to be first. It's how you really show your dedication to Apple products. As well as that, you do have the opportunity to sell your space," said Harari.

Harari and Green plan to buy the 5S iPhone, which has a Touch ID feature, allowing users to unlock their phone and purchase apps with just their finger.

The cheaper 5C iPhone is available via pre-order online, which is a much dryer alternative than London in the rain.
