Canadian Man Forgets Passport; Uses iPad to Get into U.S.

The best use of an iPad so far?

A Canadian man was on his way to the United States on December 30 when he realized he forgot his passport. Martin Reisch remembered that he had previously scanned his passport onto his iPad, so when he got to the border crossing, he showed that to the agent, who let him in.

Not so says the U.S. Customs and Border Protection. It says the officer let Reisch in because he showed a driver's license and birth certificate as well. But Reisch told ABC News that he doesn't even know where his birth certificate is.
