Store Security Camera Captures Weekend Earthquake in California

| by DeepDiveAdmin

Nerves are still frayed in Northern California after a 6.5 magnitude earthquake hit the area Saturday afternoon. The quake was centered in the Pacific Ocean, about 22 miles west Ferndale. Because the earthquake was centered so far out into the ocean, there was very little damage. In contrast, the 6.7 magnitude quake centered in Northridge that shook Los Angeles in 1994 killed 72 people and caused $25 billion in damage.
