Video: Watch All 86 Lionel Messi Goals from 2012

This past Sunday, Argentinian forward Lionel Messi shattered a 40-year-old record when he scored his 86th goal of 2012. The milestone, which came in a 2-1 Barcelona victory over Real Betis, put him ahead of German legend Gerd Mueller who previously held the mark for most goals in a single calendar year.

The goal which tied the 1972 mark came in the 16th minute of action; the record-breaking score came in the 25th.
