Video: Michael Bradley, Herculez Gomez Team Up for Great Goal During USA vs. Brazil

Brazil trounced the U.S. team 4-1 in Wednesday night’s international friendly, but the match wasn’t all for naught for the American side. Against admittedly tough competition, Jurgen Klinsmann’s team got a rough lesson on the sort of quality, hardnosed play they would see down the line. Plus, a painful loss like the one they experienced against the Brazilians likely put the U.S.’s earlier five-game winning streak in perspective for the guys who entered Wednesday’s outing feeling themselves a bit too much.

In terms of on the field positives – it was pretty scarce. Here was the lone goal that the U.S. scored in yesterday’s proceedings:
