Video: Whitney Houston’s “One Moment in Time” Defined the 1988 Summer Olympics

Whitney Houston’s tragic passing at the young age of 48 hit the sports community like a ton of bricks. Although her unfortunate escapades in recent years may have negatively impacted the way that the younger generation sees Houston’s legacy, sports fans will forever have a fondness for the most gifted singer to ever lend her talents events like Super Bowl XXV and the 1988 Olympics in Seoul.

Here is Houston’s recording of “One Moment in Time” for ’88 Summer Olympics, a tune that defined the event and also earned her an Emmy and a headlining slot at the following year’s Grammy Awards:
