Video: Oscar Pistorius aka Blade Runner Races a Horse, Wins

Oscar Pistorious earned international acclaim this year for becoming the first double amputee to ever participate in the Olympic Games. Despite the fact that he didn’t actually win anything, he served as an inspirational figure for folks all over the world.

As is the case with most Olympians, though, Blade Runner sort of fell off the map after coming home from London. Nobody really knew what he had been up to until this week. What’s occupying his time these days? Horse racing.

No, the other type of horse racing.

For what it’s worth, Pistorius was given a 15m head start. Then again, the horse has the advantage of being a horse, so that sort of evens things out.
