Three of the four female riders of the Rabobank-Liv team crashed during the Elite Women's Team Time Trial race on Sunday at the UCI Road World Championships in Ponferrada, Spain.

According to CyclingWeekly.co.uk, Annemiek Van Vleuten was leading her team, but suddenly hit a metal barrier during a turn (video below). Anna Van der Breggen, who was the third woman to go down, broke her pelvis.

"Oh my God! Oh my God" yelled one TV announcer when the three women collided.

Marianne Vos had fallen behind her teammates and wasn't part of the crash.

The Specialized-Lululemon team, who suffered injuries on Saturday, ended up winning the timed race for the third year in a row, noted The Telegraph.

Van Vleuten later posted a picture on Twitter of the team visiting Van der Breggen in the hospital with the caption: "This picture made me a little bit smile again... @RaboLiv teamies visit @AnnavdBreggen! Fast recovery Anna!"
