Tennis Player Sara Errani Blasts Umpire for Bad Call (Video)

| by Michael Allen

Sara Errani appeared to be channeling John McEnroe today during her match against Yanina Wickmayer at the Western and Southern Open in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Errani became angry when her serve clearly fell within the lines, but was ruled a fault by chair umpire Richard Haigh in the third set of the match. Wickmayer's return dropped outside the lines.

Errani challenged the call, which proved her correct (video below).

However, she also demanded that Haigh award her a point because Wickmayer's return was wide, but he refused to do so and called for a replay, notes Sports Illustrated.

"Sara, I saw the ball like this," Haigh told Errani. "I made the mistake, it's my mistake, but we have to replay."

Errani repeatedly walked up to Haigh and ripped him with her beautiful Italian accent.

She went on to beat Wickmayer 7-4, 3-6, 7-6 (2), notes USA Today.
