Lukas Rosol shocked the world on Thursday when he knocked 11-time Grand Slam champ Rafael Nadal out of Wimbledon.

One second round win, however isn’t enough for the man who entered this thing ranked 100th.

''I'm not just surprised; it's like a miracle for me,'' he said afterward. ''Like just some B team in Czech Republic can beat Real Madrid (in) soccer.

''Maybe it's once in life you can play like this against Rafael Nadal on Centre Court and you can win against him,'' Rosol said. ''You know, it's not easy. I never expect it can happen, something like this.''

Prior to this latest win, Rosol had lost in the qualifying for Wimbledon in each of his last five years. That was then and this now, though.

On Thursday, with the whole world watching, the Czech finished off his heavily favored opponent in a way that not even Nadal could fully comprehend.

''In the fifth set he played more than unbelievable,'' Nadal said.

''I was playing well in the fourth,'' Nadal said. ''I think I played a great fourth set. Sure the stop this time didn't help me. That's the sport.”
