Prior to her going out and nearly medaling in the 2012 London Olympics, the New York Times wrote a scathing critique of Lolo Jones and everything she stood for. The piece accused her of being all style and no substance, of playing up her sexuality to mask her athletic inefficiencies, and of being the Anna Kournikova of hurdling.
Needless to say, it wasn’t met with a warm reception by most of the folks who read it. Including, unsurprisingly, the good people at FOX News:
