2012 Olympics Video: South Korean Weightlifter Sa Jae-hyouk Dislocates Elbow

Certain sports tend to dominate headlines at the Olympics, and weightlifting generally just isn’t one of those sports. The 2012 London Games are no exception.

While the world has enthusiastically followed swimming, gymnastics and, to a lesser extent, soccer – hugely muscular men and women lifting ten million times their bodyweight just hasn’t piqued the general public’s interest.

Until today.

Check out what happened to South Korean weightlifter, Sa Jae-hyouk, as he attempted to lift 367 pounds (be warned, it’s brutal):

Needless to say, the man who took home gold in 2008 did not repeat in 2012.
